Test day

Test day at school today. So I did a lot of sitting and grading. One of my classes all finished early so I told them whoever drew the coolest picture would get a sticker. They loved it. One girl even made me a small board game. Kids can be so creative eh?

Missing posts

First picture is a really good cheese burger that kyle and I had in itaewon. the can of dr pepper was 3 bucks... What a deal.

Second picture is an old fortress thing near dongdaemoon. Where there is a ton of late night shopping. Literally hundreds of tents selling clothing and shoes that won't fit me.

Third picture is a corn dog with fries built in. Awesome...

Forth picture is a dimsum like roll with veggies and pork. Real good...

Fifth picture is a bike we saw one night. "Titicaca" and it says "dual triangle and two wheels, it's enough"

The fifth picture is one of my students sweatshirts. They make some wierd designs

I'm out... Feeling a little better but in between meds I feel pretty crappy.

Sick. Hospital. Fun

Went to, bed last night with an awful sore throat. Wokeup feeling awful. After fighting through 7 hours of work I went to a hospital to get some meds. They gave me a shot in my ass and an iv. I feel great. Now just 3 days of pills (3 pills x thrice daily) and I'm good as new... I hope. Today was awful...

Had a snack after. Cheesy ramen with a huge can of tuna... And some milk chocolate, hell yeah...

Payday, fireworks, streetfood, and fun

Pretty pumped this is coming to Seoul, I missed it in Dallas.

Ate every single thing here. Korean corndog, Sausage, dumpling, fried squid, fish paste (on the right), fried veggie like patties, kabob type chicken thing, some more dumplings. And the sundae (next picture)

Sundae, which is like cow bowels (intestines) and the lighter pieces i think are stomach lining or something. It was reallllly good (especially the dark sundae sausage) which is intestine.

My new scooter. This thing is fast, and fun to drive. Don't worry mom I have a helmet and I'm extra careful!  I will post a better picture soon...

Headed to the Firework festival.  Never seen so many people in one place at one time in person. It was crazy. They don't see fireworks often.

Kyle and Dave chillen with the Adjuma behind them. She kept telling us to hurry and drink more so she can have our cans. Haha

Took this after the firework festival. A mobile 7 eleven. Lol. Korean's love their ramen and beer.  Checkout the trash on the right. There is no public trash in Korea. Just piles everywhere.

Sorry I've been behind. I was finally payed on Monday!!!!! Now I can live like a normal human being. And get around the city really easy on the scoot.  Check back soon for more updates!!

Lunch

I had bulgogi, which is like shredded beef in a broth with veggies. It's served with rice and like every Korean dish; with kimchi, sprouts and some green kimchi marinated veggies. Kyle had a hotpot bibimbap or dolsa bibimbap. Just found out I can use my Korean cell phone as a wifi hotspot. So this is brought to by my iPhone. Got a haircut today from a korean that had a really strong Aussie accent. She was from korea, took english classes here, then moved to Australia for 5 years for university. Pretty cool she picked up the accent.
